Define your document type and structure
From your dashboard, click 'Add New Template' to start creating a new extraction configuration.
Name your template, add a description, and select the document category (Invoice, Report, Form, etc.).
Save your template details to proceed to the training phase.
Give your template a descriptive name like 'Q4 2024 Invoices' or 'Bank Statement - Chase' for easy identification.
Teach Finflo your document structure
Upload 1-3 representative PDF samples. The AI will analyze these to understand your document's structure.
Click 'Extract Schema' to start analysis. Finflo identifies all fields, tables, headers, and data patterns automatically.
Extraction typically takes 30-60 seconds, depending on number of pages and document structure.
Choose samples that represent the full range of your documents. Include documents with all fields filled in for best results.

Review and fine-tune your schema
See all identified fields categorized as 'Regular Fields' (single values) and 'Tables' (structured rows/columns).
Click any field to rename it, update the description, or change the data type to match your requirements.
Edit column names, reorder columns, or remove ones you don't need for your export.
Use clear, consistent naming conventions for easier Excel exports. Field descriptions help with future reference.
Process documents and download results
Upload up to 10 PDFs at once for batch processing. Each file can be up to 10MB.
